YOUR INFORMATION
How we use your personal information
Below and Beyond Drainage Ltd is responsible for the personal information you give us when you enquire about drainage work or become a customer. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it and how to contact us about it.
Business responsible for enquiries: Below and Beyond Drainage Ltd (company no. 17547344).
Registered office: 4 Herberton Road, Bournemouth, England, BH6 5HU
Who we are
Below and Beyond Drainage Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 17547344). Our registered office and enquiry contact address are given on this page. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
Information we collect
When you contact us, we may record your name, email address, telephone number, property address or postcode, the drainage problem, photographs or survey details you choose to supply and our communications with you. If you instruct us, we may also hold job notes, quotations, visit arrangements, invoices, payment details and records of work carried out. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information or payment-card details through the website form.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, check whether we can attend, arrange visits, give quotations, carry out agreed work, keep job and payment records and deal with follow-up questions or complaints. Depending on the activity, our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in handling genuine enquiries, taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract and meeting legal obligations such as accounting and tax records. We do not add people to a marketing mailing list simply because they contact us.
How website enquiries reach us
The website callback form submits directly to our website. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated submissions. Accepted enquiries are saved in our private Jobs Desk on Cloudflare, and Resend sends an email alert to [email protected]. Fasthosts forwards the alert to the authorised people dealing with enquiries. The form no longer uses FormSubmit in this configuration. If the form cannot confirm receipt, please phone or email us directly.
Telephone-link counts and website security
We count clicks on website telephone links by page and button position to understand enquiry activity. These figures are aggregate clicks, not confirmed calls, named customers or unique visitors. The counter does not store callers' names, telephone numbers, IP addresses or message text. Cloudflare processes technical connection data as part of delivering and securing the website. Our cookie information explains the services used on the site.
Who may receive information
We share information only when needed to handle enquiries and agreed work: with authorised staff, Cloudflare (website security and Jobs Desk storage), Resend (enquiry email alerts), Fasthosts and our authorised email providers, our accountant or professional advisers where necessary, and tradespeople or suppliers involved in agreed work where appropriate. We do not sell customer details. Some suppliers may process data outside the UK under their applicable data-protection arrangements; contact us for information about relevant safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep information for no longer than is needed for its purpose. The period depends on whether an enquiry led to work, whether we must retain job and accounting records, and whether a complaint, warranty matter or legal claim is ongoing. Copies in our mailboxes, the Jobs Desk and email-delivery services have separate retention arrangements. You can ask us about the period relevant to your information.
Your choices and rights
UK data-protection law gives you rights which may include access to your information, correction of errors, deletion, restriction or objection to some uses, and data portability where applicable. Some rights have legal exceptions, such as records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons. Email [email protected] to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Questions or complaints
Please contact us first if you are concerned about how we handle your information. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We may update this notice if our services or data-handling arrangements change.
